Terms of Use and Subscription

By downloading or using Playglot you accept these terms. The Premium subscription is purchased through Google Play and renews automatically until you cancel it. Cancellations and refunds are handled through Google Play.

1. Parties

These terms are between Develoop ("we"), the publisher of the Playglot mobile app (the "App"), and you, the user of the App. Because you obtain the App through Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply separately.

2. Description of the service

Playglot is an app designed to help users learn vocabulary in a foreign language: daily word study, flashcards, quizzes, spaced repetition, a level test, nine word games, statistics and badges. Word pools: General English, YDS/YÖKDİL, Phrasal Verbs, German, French, Spanish and Italian.

The App does not require an account; your progress is stored only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

3. Free use

The free version of the App has these limits:

• All nine games are open, but a total of 3 game rounds can be played per day.
• At most 10 new words can be studied per day.
• The word dictionary is exclusive to Premium.

The daily task, flashcards, quizzes, the level test, statistics and achievements are open in the free version. Daily counters reset at midnight according to your device's clock. We may change the scope and limits of the free version.

4. Premium subscription

4.1 Contents

With Premium: no ads are shown, games are unlimited, up to 30 new words per day can be studied, and the word dictionary is unlocked. Extra benefits that rewarded ads unlock are given ad-free in Premium.

4.2 Plans and price

Premium is offered with monthly, 3-month, 6-month and 12-month plans. Current prices, including taxes, are shown on the Premium screen in the App and in the Google Play payment dialog before you buy. Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.

4.3 Free trial

New subscribers may be offered a 1-week free trial, subject to Google Play's eligibility rules. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the price of the plan you chose is charged when the trial ends and the subscription starts. The trial is offered once per user.

4.4 Automatic renewal

Until you cancel, the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period for the same length and at the then-current price, and the fee is charged to your Google Play account.

4.5 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time in the Google Play app under Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Playglot, or from the "Manage subscription" link in the App. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription.

4.6 Refunds

Because purchases are processed by Google Play, refund requests are handled under the Google Play refund policy. If you have a problem you can also write to us. Your statutory consumer rights, for example under Turkish Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation, are reserved; for services performed immediately in electronic form, the legal exceptions to the right of withdrawal may apply.

4.7 Price changes

We may change prices. For existing subscriptions, a price change is notified in advance under Google Play's rules; for price increases, your consent is requested where required. If you do not accept the new price, your subscription ends at the end of the period.

4.8 Restoring and changing devices

Premium is tied to the Google account you purchased it with. On another Android device signed in to the same Google account, you can unlock Premium with "Restore purchases" in the App.

5. Rewarded ads

There are no forced ads in the free version. You can get some extra benefits (for example an extra game round once the daily rounds are used up, retrying a round that went badly without counting its result, or a second chance in a game) by watching a rewarded ad to the end if you wish. These benefits are given with daily or per-game limits. If no ad is available or the ad is closed early, the benefit is not granted. The content of ads is determined by the ad network (Google AdMob); we are not responsible for the products advertised.

6. Your data and backup

Your progress is stored on your device and, if Android's Auto Backup is on, backed up to your own Google account. If you turn backup off or a backup cannot be made, your progress cannot be restored when the app is deleted or the device is changed. We are not responsible for the loss of data kept on your device.

7. Accuracy of content

We prepare word meanings, example sentences and levels with care, but we do not guarantee that they are free of errors. The App is a learning tool; exam success or reaching a particular language level is not guaranteed. Pronunciation is produced by your device's text-to-speech engine and its quality varies by device. We would be glad if you report any errors you see.

8. Acceptable use

By using the App you agree not to:

• reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the App;
• try to get around the limits of the free version, or subscription or ad rewards, by cheating;
• copy the word content in bulk, sell it or use it in another product;
• use the App for any unlawful purpose.

9. Intellectual property

The App, its name, logo, design, code and word content (word lists, meanings, example sentences) belong to Develoop or its licensors. You are granted a personal, non-transferable and limited right to use the App for non-commercial purposes. The game types are generally known games; their names are used only descriptively.

10. Limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will work uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of data arising from the use of the App. Liability arising from intent or gross negligence, and your rights under consumer law, are reserved.

11. Changes and end of service

We may update the App and these terms. The current terms are always published on this page; we will announce important changes in the App or on the Google Play page. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the new terms. We may require older versions to be updated for security or compatibility reasons. If the App is withdrawn, Google Play's rules apply to subscription periods already paid for.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. For disputes arising from consumer transactions, within the monetary limits, you may apply to the consumer arbitration committees or consumer courts at your place of residence.
